Why set goals? A goal is a goal, and without knowing our purpose, it is almost certain that we never reach.
The purpose of this paper is to propose some effective, such as defining your goals.
First, all objectives should be SMART, ie. Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time Bound. But what does this mean?
Particular – the descriptions. If it is to buy a new car, we are talking about the brand, model, year, color, interior trim. If this is a house, neighborhood, street, which, as many rooms, it is time to brick or board or to do, at the entrance, go left, right or straight to the door as many windows are in front of the house, what color is the door? You get my Drift.
Measurable – as you know, you’ve achieved your goals, but also, as you know, you’re on the right track?
To reach – you can win $ 1 million this month, but unless you know something, what I did not, it is unlikely you will achieve. Get to your goals / she is a piece, but not impossible. Relevant – your goals, we must feel our passion. You must with the emotion of your goals. Why? I set a goal as “something you are ready for other things, for”. Know why your goals, so that any question as to why. That way, if every time you have to take a decision, either you or your target, and always on the path to your destination, the conclusion is inevitable … your goal.
Time Bound – set a time / date. Say you earn $ 1m is another case where more than 30 years, 10 years, 5 years, 1 year, 1 month, 1 week, 1 day.
Thus, it is common practice to define what your goals are: – 50 goals to pursue.
1) Write 50 goals, using the 6 questions:
In the next 10 years …
… What I want to see?
… What I want to be?
… What I want to do?
… Where am I?
… What would I need? and
… What do I connect?
You must be able to at least 50th
2) Go to the list and, if the goal should be achieved by 1 year, 3 years, 5 years or 10 years. Insert a 1, 3, 5 or 10, for each goal.
3) Check the list for that, in equilibrium, all 1 year or every 10 years, etc.
4) Take the list and select each category 4, ie 4 x 1 year goals, 4 x 3 years, objectives, and so on. If you have problems, ask yourself the question if I could only do 10 if I do so, 8 and so on. Whittle, after deduction. See also the objectives, the raw materials for other goals – one by the others. For example, an objective of an income of 100,000 U.S. dollars per month and a goal that you buy a Lexus for the money if you earn over 100,000 dollars in one month – the precursor (100,000 United States dollars earn in a month) made for your destination, the owner of a Lexus.
5) Go through this list of 16 goals and write a detailed description of what it means. Remember that part of the S-SMART – specific.
6) It is the most important step is. For your list and write at least 2 games on the different objectives, why you reach that goal. Let’s go back to a description of our objective. A goal is something that you’re ready for other things. You should know why. If you yourself can not define why you want to make a point on the list, it is not a goal. I can make a confirmation or, if you do not know why you on it, you’ll probably not give it to difficult decisions, other things voted in favor. Return to your source list and choose another.
OK, we have our goals. Now, how do we get there?
The key is action. If you know your goals and have a vision, the next step is to ask “What can I do today on the way to my goal?”
